What is VNISH firmware?
VNISH is custom firmware for supported Bitmain Antminer devices. It gives you access to operating profiles, tuning and monitoring through the miner interface. On VNISH Ninja, we connect the firmware to practical guidance: choose the matching hardware route, make the change and check how your miner performs. The right starting point is the device you own, including its control board and cooling variant.
Where to download VNISH for your Antminer
Use our model catalog or the selector above. S21, S21 Pro, S21 Hydro and S21 XP are separate models, and S19 variants are not interchangeable. A matching family name is not enough. Open the page for your exact device and board, then follow that page to its current package and instructions. We keep the route to the download and the route to help together.
Open our firmware catalog →Which control board is inside?
The catalog includes Amlogic, Xilinx, CVITEK and BeagleBone routes. Availability depends on the exact model. Read the board information available in the miner interface or identify the board using our guide. If you cannot confirm it, leave the selector on ‘I am not sure’. We will show the identification guide rather than choose a board for you.
Identify your control board →How to install VNISH firmware
First record the full model, board platform and current firmware version or build date. Open the matching installation route and prepare the package and installation tool it specifies. The current 1.3.6 catalog names HashCore Toolkit 1.7.4 for its NAND packages. Stock firmware restrictions can change the route, so check the instructions for your current device before writing. After installation, confirm the version, connected boards, cooling, pool connection and accepted work.
Get the installation tools →Toolkit shows an SSH or signature error
Keep the full error message and the stock firmware version. A connection problem, a blocked installation path and a mismatched package need different answers. Confirm that you are addressing the intended miner and have selected its exact model and board. Do not cycle through unrelated recovery images. Use the help option above to prepare a short device summary for our support team. It contains the context needed to choose the next step, without passwords or access keys.
Prepare the details for support →What to check after the first boot
A working web page is the first checkpoint. Confirm that the expected VNISH version is running, all expected boards are present, cooling is working and the pool is receiving accepted work. Compare power and hashrate over the same operating window. Keep the first device under observation before repeating the change across a fleet. This turns a download into a setup you can evaluate.
Check the first run →Updating VNISH or returning to stock
Tell the route selector whether VNISH is already installed. An update and a first installation are different operations. Read the matching page for the required package and method, and retain your current configuration before changing it. For a return to stock, use the recovery guidance for the board and current state of the device. A miner that boots normally and a board that does not boot call for different procedures.
Read the return-to-stock guide →Free download and the developer fee
Our firmware download is free. While VNISH runs, the developer fee is a share of active hashrate, with the applicable rate shown in the firmware interface. Check the terms for the selected product and build. Compare operating profiles using power, hashrate, fees and your electricity tariff together. An attractive hashrate number alone is not the whole result.
