Checksum Cut
Verify the file before it ever touches your miner. Checksum first.
A swordsman tests the blade before the battle, not during it. The SHA-256 checksum is that test: one clean cut that tells you the file is exactly what the source signed - before it ever touches your miner.
In the firmware
Every build on this site ships with a published SHA-256. The verify page and the toolkit both check it for you.
